And as you stand there

you cry

But your tears

Are insolent

You think the world is ending

But when you look into my eyes

It's not

If

I could stand in your shoes

One day

Stand by your side

I would no longer have

to hide

To wait

In the rain

With one memory

Two years

Ago

In the sun

We sit in idle chatter

Plaiting grass

laughing

I can't help to wonder

If I will ever see you smile

Watch your lips

when you speak

When your eyes shine

Perhaps

You have taken the chance

That I fear to take

The other path

The new

Turn

But I will wait

And I will find you

One day
