An empty sheet of cobalt hangs high

Flawless, not a single cloud in place,

I gaze, my spirits strong, reminsicing all the blue skies

All the happy days, all my thoughts in pace.

*

The happy times trickle by,

A gentle stream of happy contemplation,

The days that time always seemed to fly

With my future as my only explanation

*

Times filled with uttermost buoyancy

Times filled with untold pleasures

Life never seemed to disagree

With all my new found treasures

*

This had become

my care free time

No worries or strife for me to call mine

Just a flawlwss sky.

And my thoughts simmering up high.

Into the clearless abyss

Of a deep blue sky.
