Life is hard, its as simple as that.
Prosperity is never acheived easily.
So remeber, whenever life grabs hold of you and slaps you in the face.
Today's thorn's, are tomorrow's roses.

I wake up at night, cold and alone

With nothing but scilence as my companion

And I wonder out loud

"If God loves me so,

Then why has my life decived me?

Why do I try so hard?

To find my hands empty

And torn.

*

I get no answer that night,

So conitnue with the harsh pattern of exsitence

Wondering what I did to desrve

Such pain and spite

*

My world is bleak with darkness,

My dreams crushed by reality

My hope has withered away

into fine dust

*

I continue to ask

Continue to pray

Begging the great God above

To show me the way

*

But for months I get nothing

Making my tears warm with bitterness

My ears blocked to verity

My hands torn by thorns.

*

Then one fine day,

during a starless night,

I find the way,

wriiten in a book

That I know is right

*

And something speaks to me

consoling me,

informing me

That the storm is over,

*

With every shadow, there is a ray of light

With every death, there is a birth

With every hardship, there is a clearing

And with every rose there is a thorn

I may get beaten by today's thorns

But I should never give up hope for tomorrows roses.
