This is a poem about my first love. He was my bestfriend and the best friend I have had since. He was there for me when I had no one else, unfortunately I messed up our relationship. Now we are just friends, but not as close as I'd like.

Looking at your eyes I can't distinguish the color

Everything about you makes me wonder

The green in your eyes remind me of pleasure

Being with you, nothing could measure

Every time we touch it lingers

You make it feel right to be a sinner

The hint of brown in your eyes remind  me of thunder

and the pressure you put me under

Looking at you I sense danger

Still I can't pull myself from the hunger

The pull of your love is so much stronger

The dark blue in your eyes show me your sensitive side

This is the side you often hide

Not many experience this backside

But with me, you know you can confide

I am blessed to have ever had someone so special,

of this i wil never be doubtful

For getting to know you I am truly thankful

With our relationship, I will always be careful
