BOOM,
one more down,
fallen to the ground,
blood pouring out,
but you don't know what about.
her corpse seems to be sleeping,
paceful but with a tint of blue,
you find her lying on the floor,
and wonder if it was you.
she left no note for anyone,
because no one seemed to care,
now only the rats can see you,
and you pet her bloodied hair.
while her mistakes had been dire,
they were far from satanic jet black,
all she really wanted,
was to gain your trust back.
but you left her waiting,
and her heartbeats took too long,
walk among the dying,
and listen to her song.
i've put away my coffin,
and lied down to rest,
my weary body broken,
a hole in my aching chest.
i have one final chance,
to make everything alright,
i'll put all my strength into it,
even if it takes all night.
so believe her when she says i love you,
she means it with her soul,
she tries so hard to be perfect,
even though her heart is cold.
