Winter loiters. They say
Spring shall never come again.

The Fool, the Hound, the Bag of Tricks.

Hear the dice roll in the wilderness,
Hear the knock, the tumble, bleached skulls
Upon a bleached landscape.

Hand in hand we dance toward the cliff,
Hand in hand we laugh in the fields of rye.

Nothing can stop us now.
No one can come between us, now that we meet
In the fading light, under the gaze of the Twilight Star.

We watch. We wait.

By the road that leads to temptation, dare we catch those
Who truly desire to fall?
