Inspired by my ex-byfriend, who made me feel like I could fly, and still does. For you Dylan.

(This would be the first voluntary poem I have ever written)

A fake sign of joy, but a real sign of love
Just a wonderful boy, I am thinking of

He knows my weaknesses, and everything else
It’s like a sweet caress, like a chime of bells

A smile is beautiful, with no limit
A significant pull, in this life I’ve knit

Hearts are purified, and love is stranger
These dreary eyes have cried, an unsafe manger

This smile is really true. My love is complete.
With this doodle I drew, I must lock it in with concrete.
