I wasn't too sure on this one.
A fairly recent right after a stint of writers block.
All criticism welcome

Hearts beating faster, all thanks to you;

There’s a million miles between us, yet I can feel that touch,

A phantom hand lingers around my waist.

Affection from afar.

My pupils dilate when I hear your voice,

Crackled and distorted it may be, but soon enough I know,

A moment of clarity will shed the veil

That separates.

Clouded judgement fills my days

It’s wrong to want you here, yet right to write it down

Time will allow the clouds to dissipate

Storms fades to blue.

Your South will meet my North

A Heart moving upward, unaware yet quickening

The compass spins control no more

But you are central.
