In thundering expanse
of cold dark blue,
The white caps laugh
That nature could produce such fury.

Spray whipping through the air
With gale force stings my face.
I lick my lips and taste the salt,
feel cold water roll down my back.

The sun is shining,
The sky is clear,
It seems as though the sea
Has made a mistake.
