Come play this game with me
Where there is never any misery
Depression stays in the past
Well, I Knew it would not last

Keeping a smile upon your face
When you feel it out of place
Laughing at all of the jokes
Even when misery always pokes

Playing at happiness in the park
Even if light is covered by the dark
This is just a game which we play
Trying to ignore what people say

Because you are down and never up
Of this depression, you have had enough
No one sees you are playing along
Pretending that nothing is wrong
