As I stand here waiting,
Waiting for you in this dark world you call yours.

I think of nothing but the moon,
You told me you would come,
Why haven’t you?

The moon is my comfort,
The green space around me calms my mind,
Soothing me.

You told me you would show me this world,
You haven’t come for me,
Why?

Maybe you decided to leave me,
To leave me here.
Alone.

In this dark world,
The moon is my only friend.
She stands by me,
Unlike you.

She stays with me,
You promised me you would,
But you did not.

So now,
Me and my only friend stand here.
Me and The Moon.
