i begin again, i end the then

i dont feel i just crawl the earth

dredged up consequences of little faith

hardened noses a lepers face

wet on your brow no tears in your eyes

no ache to your heart no reason to try

showing your teeth with no tricks up your sleeve

floating back home with no reason to breath

no rising up this time, no ledge for the fall

no intimate gathering no standing just crawl

crawling to you, crawling away, crawl again

shouting stay..... away but stay

enticed by the eyes, loved for the thought, held by the mother and the

guilt that it caught

i turn another page , a thousand miles from you,

taking it back, black through and through

staggered choices from another time

i ll hold my blade and stand in line.
