Sat up high on golden throne, The kings of conscience own this home,

Steepled tall, grand and fine, within they lecture and drink their wine,

"Charity" is all they preach, but all they do is reap and reap,

Their coffers full, past full measure, but redemption imparted their 'real' treasure,

Greed and corruption is a human beast, it makes the fat gorge at their feast,

To each his own, who am I to decide, but take a second look with eyes open wide.
