Papa 2.0

As I roll down the street alone,

I feel a presence on the wind behind me,

An intoxicating jazz melody wafts through the canal of my ear.

The silky tone of the indigo saxophone makes the identity of the apparition indelibly clear.

It is the whisper of my papa uniting with the guitar that strums the cries of my soul..

Our music fuses us,

Father and daughter entwined as one.

His song brings me comfort; as a new part of my existence has begun.

Then the presence dissipates on the breeze of a dusky evening.

I know that he will always love me.

My papa is my music.
