When my heart feels heavy there's a book I read

Mom started it when I was in her tummy

Inside there's a note, how beautiful and smart I was and she loves me

It took the whole page.

Under the notes from "daddy" it's been blank for 19 years and counting

Mom told you I was getting married

I got married two months ago and you didn't even care

My heart ached looking at my right side and seeing I don't have a father

But when Haley gets married I'm sure youll hold her arm and cry

Why are they so special?
