A man.

A man stands there.

A man stands on a hill, against a black sky.

He waits.

He waits for something.

He waits for something to happen.

His arms

His arms are lifted high

His arms are lifted to the sky, bearing invitation.

His eyes

His eyes are closed

His eyes are closed, and yet he sees everything.

The sun

The sun rises

The sun rises and casts a scarlet hue over him.

His silhouette

His silhouette is cast

His silhouette is cast over the hilltops.

His face

His face cracks a smile

His face cracks a smile, because he got what he was waiting for.
