Wish hard... wish true... don't cry when your wishes get to you...

“We killed the show once again!” I excitedly screamed as we finished our hit song titled “One Last Wish.” Inside the dressing room, everyone cheerfully congratulated each other.
“Silent Murder would be the next big thing!” shouted Leah Williams, the band’s hyperactive drummer.
“As much as I agreed with Leah, you overdid your vocals again, Luna. You know how hard it can be to follow you on my guitar,” said our hard-headed but handsome guitarist, Riku Yagami.
“Totally man, and Leah’s drumming was way off that I lost my place on the base. How will we ever reach the big time now?” teased Daichi Yagami, the joker of Silent Murder. Taking it as a total offense, Leah threw her make-up bag at Daichi’s pale face, thus leaving a tiny bruise on his flawless forehead. Both Riku and Daichi returned her attack with one of their own. The next thing you know, the dressing room became a battlefield with make-up equipment and costumes flying everywhere. Without anyone noticing, I sneaked out of the riot as quietly as a mouse.
Walking through the empty corridors, I tried to clear my head from the madness as well as getting a drink from the vending machine. When I was making my selection, I recalled all those fun moments we had before we pushed ourselves to fame. I sighed and took a sip from my 7up can, wishing that we could be famous now. No more stupid gigs late at night and certainly no more fighting would occur if we were celebrities.
“Is that you’re final wish,” said a mysterious, breathy voice from nowhere. Frightened, I shakily asked, “Who’s that?”
“Look at your 7up can,” said the breathy voice once again. Suddenly, weird purple mist started coming out of my 7up can. With a blink of an eye, a woman dressed in an Arabian Night attire appeared before me.
“What in the world are you?” I asked as I threw away the bizarre can of 7up.
“Why Luna Morte, I’m Eliv, the genie of the can and I’ll grant you one wish,” smiled the vixen-like genie. Wow, I have a wish all to myself! I jumped giddily until Eliv stopped me by asking, “Luna, darling, do you want your wish to be granted? You know the wish about becoming famous now?” Before agreeing to the wish, I thought about the consequences that could happen, but I became so overexcited that I recklessly agreed to the wish. Suddenly, the building disappeared and I was trapped in an empty, dark void. “So you have wish for it, so it shall be granted,” boomed Eliv.
After that, I transported in front of a deserted stadium called “The Sacrifice.” Chills ran down my spine as I ventured into the stadium. Then, I heard our song playing somewhere in the distance. I followed the music and it led it to the stage. Under a dim stage light, I saw Leah drumming away with an expressionless face. Appearing next to Leah were Riku and Daichi with zombie-like posture. “You guys, when did we get a gig at this stadium?” I told them in a scared, uncertain voice.
“Luna, we’re famous now. We’ve been on tour for three weeks now,” said Leah in monotone, still mindlessly drumming away.
“We’re famous now,” mimicked Riku and Daichi in the same, eerie monotone. Suddenly, tons of people emerged from thin air with signs like “Silent Murder Kills the Show!” The crowd cheered unenthusiastically, as the band started to play. “Let’s rock, Silent Murder,” slurred Daichi. Since I am a devoted musician, I sang to the tune of “One Last Wish” despite being scared to death. When I started singing the chorus, my beautiful voice started disappearing. Dark red, salty blood started oozing out of my mouth, replacing my melodious voice. Inside my head, I heard Eliv’s malicious tone taunting me. “Every wish has a price, my dear Luna, and your payment was that precious voice!” teased Eliv spitefully. My whole body became drenched in blood, the music disappeared, and everything faded away. How I wish I had not made that wish!

Wish hard... wish true... don't cry when your wishes get to you...
