I knit the strands of my life

like a clumsy clothier.

I lack the tenacity

of the estranged sentry from my youth.

I oust the vulgar thoughts from my mind

I spit out the scathing scarlet wine

on to the scheming, heartless fiends

the zymurgy of society disgusts me.

Molded in to a marching zombie

I trudge through the dead forests.

Unaware that I am breaking free

I spread my newfound wings.

I soar away, high to the sky

inspired by the black tourmaline.

Below I see the lines of zombies

unable to break free.

I am saddened by the mediocre masses

lacking virtue, standing in obscene lines.

I can say nothing at all

I can only fly away, choking on my revulsion..
