Our humanity has been bent

each and every way.

And my mind is running rampant.

This may well be my final page.

I saw the young and women go.

And they have yet to return.

I watch for the gestapo,

as my stomach twists and turns.

I had a loving roof,

but now all that has changed.

My daughter may be proof

that I have become deranged.

My blood lay still and free.

Thankful it was her, thankful it's not me.
