A personal struggle with life.

I Surrender All

I tried to end my life last night, I tried to give it all away

I gave into the world last night, I was being led astray

I thought my life was over as I lye here on the floor

I was buried in my sinful heart, only wanting more

Then I heard someone speaking, I thought I heard my name

Through the music and the fog, someone said, “There is no shame.”

The voice was strong and clear, “You have never been alone.”

Though no one was around me, I felt I was not on my own

Then a hand reached out to me and helped me on my feet

“My son,” said He, “I Am here.” “Your sin I will defeat.”

He said His name is Jesus and He died on the cross for me.

Through Him I’ll find salvation, Through Him I can be free.
