Time is rolling further away from you with a jingle jangle

The more I travel the more I miss...

Realising that those years are slipping ever deeper

From my conscious, into pools of dead rusty leaves

But I don't want to leave them there, the final last goodbye

But it happened, and no time can unravel it to nothing

For as long as the sea holds stones upon it's bottom

Clutching them tight like little trinkets

Treasuring promises that disolved in the oceans arms

And the sea grew grey like the sky but the more I swim

The more I remember what I'm trying to swim against

A vast current that never sleeps, always driven by a silent wind

Creeping through my skin like a drug,

And I'm crazed

Fueling the tragedy with an idealistic storyline to comfort

But the more I comfort the more it reminds me what I'm softening

And melting endlessly, closer to the flame that made you

Constantly burning like those amber city lights, never tiring in my desire

To reach you - through blinking flashes and purple streaks

As the lights begin to die at some point, and green flies flutter and die in the shadows

All the time I'm shining because of the conscious - But dying because I'll never forget.
