Darkened by the shadow projected over her
She anguishes like the dying moon
Never knowing if she'll make it
Back to the place she once called home

And home is very far away from her now
Now the shadows stole her truth
And the angels fought the demons
Just to get it through to you

Sanctions laid on every road
No matter which way she was to go
The Dark Lords and their workers
Never permitted her to know

The reasons for this were she was just a whore
Not you're average sickly tart
She were one that played the games
The twisted form of art

Against all those who threw her down
Upon the ruined castle
She knew of not one who'd aid her ways
But lived by their enchantment

And so it was she lived a life
Alone for all eternity
Waiting for the courageous one
To set her spirit free

If you go down those roads today
You can still make out the place
Where struck by sadness of a broken heart
She cut off her ugly face

Free at last of all her pain
The sin she cast in blackened rein
The days she spent and waited in vain
She'll never go down that path again
