A A A | A A A

Even after a forest is burned to the ground
Life may still exist
Even after hundreds of years in waiting
A seed can germinate

The water from the mountains runs down
Through the valleys and all around
Touching all in it's path and bringing new life
Like a magic wand

And magic it is, for never have I
Seen more beauty in my eye
Than the top layer of the rain forest
Standing so tall, nothing is more beautiful

Standing so strong from beneath
The tops touch the sky
Fascinates me, makes me wonder why
How there can be so much death and pain

When our world can house so much grace
Makes me wonder about the nature of this place
The disgrace, it's a world away, yet
With no help from us, life can flow through a dead forest
