Out of the fire of life
I step into the unknown
I don't know which way to turn
I was born alone

Born unto a world of uncaring
With naive mind and juvenile soul
Searching for some kind of hidden message
So I may one day grow

Out upon the murky waters of this land
I swim with head held high
The rush of waves sweep me under
And I don't understand why

Why it has to be so hard just to survive
Or why I fight, just to stay alive
In a pointless world where I know not the meaning
Of my very existence, my stupid fears, or loveless dreaming

As I walk on
The air begins to change uncannily
Things start to happen
My whole world goes into overdrive peculiarly

It seems there is life on my patch of Earth after all
It seems the flowers do grow
Even though, yet black, they live to die
Beyond the chaos of the Universe...

...I want to know!

And so it is

All elements are within

Forever shifting, mutating

Living, burning, decaying
