The darkest thought that we call death

Lurks around in someone's head.

No one sees it, no one knows,

Except the head that it now owns.

This dark is not a friendly kind,
It likes to hide in just one mind.
It likes to sit and stew all day,
Telling your mind it just wants to play.

These thoughts start small
Like no harm can be done,
But then they grow larger
and they lead to no fun.

Our innocent minds, they just want to run free,
But the darkness holds on, it will not let us be.

It's there when we sit,
it's there when we walk,
We can't stop overthinking,
and now we can't talk.

The darkness called death has become our whole mind.
Nothing can help, it won't be worth the time.

The only solution that is left for us now
Is to follow the darkness while death takes a bow.
It's succeeded it stealing our great gift of life
And it leaves us with nothing but a cut from a knife.

The darkest thought that we call death
Lurks around in someone's head.
No one sees it, no one knows,
Except the head that it now owns.
