Shapes bloom then flatten
Pins fight hard against the wind
Fresh line-dried washing

certainly more romantic than a laundromat :)
Much! Thanks, Connie
Romantic, I'm not sure. Good haiku for sure
Devil Dibs... I had to go see why you would use the word 'romantic' about washing on a clothes line. It was the comment left by moonphish. In that sense - his sense - it was/is romantic in the wider sense of romanticism. In fact there are bird poops, hidden wasps, sudden rainstorms, high winds that tear a piece of clothing off and blow it down in the dirt or off into the puckerbrush. Not so romantic to deal with are those possibilities. And all that to satisfy my curiosity and then an early morning need to blather on! I'll take the 'good haiku' and leave the rest! Thanks Dibs. All best, Connie
