Let me tell you about a friend of mine.

She's got problems I can read.

On her face you can see the lines.

Draw together as she grieves.

There is a place inside she needs to define.

To let her know why she wears those lines.

And all those promises that she made to her own.

For those lonely nights that she cried alone.

Keep bring her back to the place that she is.

Living a life that she wishes was only his.

So take me back I'm asking you lord.

Without my wings how can I soar ?

I've been stuck on this ground just trying to get by.

When all I want to do is grow these wings and fly.

In those lines I can feel her pain.

Two wingless angels living a life all the same.
