This is a poem I wrote about a girl that I know.

I'm taking you, you in all your beauty, out on the town tonight

You're gonna want to get ready for this

I hope for tonight and forevermore with me, you're in eternal bliss

I'm sitting here hoping and praying everything goes just right

Not even thinking of how bad I'll feel when I have to say goodnight

This is definitely gonna be a night we don't want to miss

For tonight, for the first time, I might lay 'em on your lips

And then that bright red ruby in your chest will hopefully take flight

You're in your room getting ready to leave the night on

Hoping that tonight I'll be a bit bolder

You look around to make sure everything's perfect, especially the clothes that you don.

When we got where we were going you laid your head on my shoulder

Hopefully you aren't unimpressed with my brawn

My heart goes wild, as all night I get to hold her
