Woke up one morning early, Could not believe my eyes.

Among the roses in the back, An Angel from the skies.

The glis'ning sun behind her, Set her all aglow.

Sqinching hard I swear I saw, Her beautiful halo.

Her gentle touch to flowers, the gentle way she walked.

Made my heart speed up a bit, And didn't want to stop.

I swear I saw her Angel wings, As she moved about.

No one could surpass her charms, and that's beyond a doubt.

With tears I knelt to thank the Lord, This I'll do for life.

This very girl God sent the world, This Angel is my wife!

I think I would have been a little more alarmed that a strange female was lurking amongst my roses in the backyard, but am glad you found a fairer destiny ...and wrote a nice poem about it.
