I wrote this shortly after fainting for the first time in my life. I used it for a school poetry project shortly after. It made me realize that in times of need (such as passing out in a crowd of many people) most people won't jump to action. I was stared at like I was weird. If I hadn't been standing next to one friend of mine, I'm not sure what I would have done. I kind of feel bad for those people. How do they expect to be helped when they haven't helped anyone themselves?

I stand among the crowd. In the heat, I'd rather be in my seat. My eyes they squint, while my head it pounds. The sun is beaming. And as it drowns, We are supposed to be watching something, but No one seems to care.

But it soon it all gets worse. My stomach, it growls angrily at me. I look down and tell it to stop being so hungry.  I then turn pale, like a sheet, And soon I'm falling off my feet.  I wake up and look around, but No one seems to care.

One friend is nice and takes me away. And as I walk, and can't help but wonder, \"What force has driven their hearts asunder?\" My dad soon comes and takes me home. But then I wonder where they'll roam. How will they feel when they have fallen, and No one seems to care?
