I had seen u, felt so delighted.

How I wish I had known then it was just ephemeral.

Just a glimpse gave me no pleasure,

got closer to feast ma eyes, sight amazing,Thoughts innumerable...

I had told myself. Impeccable she is, beyond imagination!

Asking myself if I can touch.

Came closer, holding the moment tight,

telling myself Nothing had ever moved me so much..

Had I known this was all in vain,

Had I known this fetched me nothing but pain.

Why was I reluctant to the only truth?

Why was I betrayed in my lonely youth?

Inner voice had always warned me to go astray,

I never obeyed thinking I'd be forgiven if I’d pray.

But one day, an abrupt end.

Then on my knees seeking for help from my only friend.

My Lord! My God! Help me, I prayed...

He came to my rescue even after I betrayed.

I love you Lord.
