A Mother's Birthday

Lovingly, you put me to bed,

Kissing me upon the head.

You say," Goodnight,

Until the marrow!"

Your love is more

Than time can borrow!

You are there for me

Wherever I may be,

For your words are wisdom

That I use as my guide

And so when needed,

I do abide.

You will always be,

"Ma Mere" to me,

And as "Sa Fille",

I would like to say

That I love you

And happy birthday.
