The irony of old age…

There`s a time to live,

There`s a time to die,

A time to laugh,

A time to cry.

Now I live betwixt between,

What`s really now

And what has been.

Unwanted by so many…yet

Still wanted by a few in debt.

So now I sit upon the shelf.

And yearn for someone like myself.

Who might with luck just understand

The comfort in a human hand.

I lost my mate four years ago,

How cruel is time to go so slow.

Yet still this shadow of a man

Continues with Gods Holy plan,

And wishes.  Yes with all his heart,

The time would come and just to depart.
