Miss. Tibbs

My name is Miss. Tibbs

And I`m lean in the ribs

As feline as feline can be,

I can scratch bite and claw

With the mongrel next door

Then run for my life up a tree.

My name is Miss. Tibbs

And I`m not telling fibs

I`m a pussycat now fully grown

To my Mistress`s delight

I can purr through the night

And make sure she is never alone.

My name is Miss. Tibbs

And I`m down in the dibs

For my Mistress chased me out of the house.

She forgets I`m a cat,

And I left on the mat

The remains of a half-eaten mouse.

My name is Miss. Tibbs,

And I never ad-lib

I perform lots of tricks if you`re nice

I can meow up to ten

Then do it again,

Then swallow a couple of mice.

My name is Miss. Tibbs

I hate fire-work squibs,

And the boy who tied one on my tail.

So I fought scratched and bit,

And the fuse was not lit…

And the boy ended up in a jail.
