One there was a time when things were admirable. Everything around was just a better way to life, the way we ate, thought, even slept. As a wise man sits and thinks to himself, once about great things there is now a void so strong it engulfs him. A Wise man, sure of everything he believed in crippled by the thought of an unrelentless path to come forth, unable to determine life's worth itself. When the time come to grasp a reality feared by most it beckons on the weak, feeding off self worth, a growing thought of that nothing will matter. As time goes by the wise man deteriorates, drink after drink, knowingly careless with no remorse for anything but himself. Holding on to the glory days of the past victories he once knew. Then reality  sets in, realizing once he had something honorable as a strong independent man, fallen so far to the point of no return. Grasping for a chance where there is nothing left to grasp but an empty abyss filled with lies and false promises to not only himself, but everyone that cares for him, making this hard to believe this was once a respectable honest man. There once was a time, where the grass was greener, the air was fresher, and the day were longer, but the people never change, Maybe one day we can all go back to a time of no regret, one day.. and the last day, but will it make everything better? Or was it just better because a young mind can think so much of someone and one day figure out its all a fake reality, waiting to unravel.
