Reality, Or Fantasy
Sitting at my window
With nothing to do
I wish
But there is one thing I know
Some wishes will never come true
Because reality is twisted with my fantasy
So even though I know it’s true
I wish for what I want
A horse, a house
A car, a cat
From magic to some money
It clears my mind
It makes me forget
What’s in a turmoil inside of me
After all this I can still be happy
Even though I know
Some wishes will never come true
Because reality is twisted with my fantasy
It’s true I know
Don’t deny it
I’m weird, I’m strange
For being like this
But maybe being weird
Is what we really are
Not popular
Not jocks
Nor geeks
In our own little world
In our own little minds
We’re all weird
And that’s what connects us
So when I have a problem
That won’t go away
I sit at my window and wish
Oh, I wish the most ridiculous wishes
Because it helps me think
It clears my mind
Even though I know
Some wishes will never come true
Because reality is twisted with my fantasy
