The white doves soar above the world
peace following them where ever they go
ushering you back across the ocean
and welcoming you home again

A simple touch from your hands
could make everything in the world disappear
grazing skin, oh so soft
and bringing peace to the roughest of times

Kisses from lips that speak so sweetly
telling generations that all will pass
gentle squeezes and pats,
life does go on, no matter how hard

A story so wonderfully told
made a bad day seem to turn right around
laughs that make an echo
happiness comes in the darkest hours

Warm hugs that squeeze and hold tight
brought a smile upon the faces of all
cold melted away with a quick embrace
giving off all of the love one can give

As the doves reach the end of the great ocean
and the flock moves into the setting sun
you're warm and gracious heart flies with
finally, you're going home
