He cascaded down close to me on the cliff with velvet black wings silhouetted across his broad muscular shoulders, at the crack of dawn.
I wondered what this glorious winged being was doing out here in the middle of nowhere in the pouring rain. I couldn't tell you exactly what he
was to save my life, but at the time, I felt safe and secure, as if he were some sort of angel, sent down to protect me after my attacker left me
stranded. His intense yet loving gaze met my soft blue eyes as I tried to reach the brush and as I was backing up, someone grabbed me.
I screamed and the wonderful being flew off. I was puzzled and confused, wondering where he went, and in the still of the silence, I heard his gentle,
reassuring voice whisper "I am right here." I spun around so fast, my vision blurred and I nearly fell over but he grabbed
me and the first thing I noticed were that his wings were gone. I vaguely remember him saying “Not gone my dear, just hidden.. do you know
what I am?” he asked “An Angel?” I guessed. “Sort of but not quite.” He replied. His masculine voice matched his stature... Strong and rugged,
yet smooth like honey. “How can I see you if you’re an angel? Wait...am I dead?” “DON’T SAY THAT!” He said in a harsh and forceful tone,
acting as if death was a sinful thing to mention, and I cringed in fear of the wonderful angel's harsh tone. “I’m sorry” he calmly replies.
“I didn’t mean to frighten you... Your leg.. What has happened?” As soon as he said that I remembered a dim pain in my leg that shot through my
thigh as if someone had hit it very hard with a hammer. “It’s alright” he said “It’s not that bad, but you shouldn’t walk on it... Here, let me carry you
so there will be no further damage” he says as he picks me up off the ground “I know of a place we can get this fixed ill carry you there.” “Okay,”
I say, still slightly frightened. “It’ll be alright.” He said. "My name is Alexandria what's yours?"
the wonderful angel ponders for about a minute trying to decide whether I should know his name or not, as if it were embarassing for him to
have such a name. The Angel spoke in his wonderfully smooth voice, "My name is Michael. I like yours though sounds more angelic to me."
