The night is grim, the weather bleak
The pale moon, the stars are weak
A lonely fire in the dark
It flutters softly like my heart
The wind speaksquietly of them
Of spirits waking from within
The nightly rhythm like a wave
Above the sweeping plains it raves
The grasses tall sway back and forth
The evening star burns in the North

An oath was sworn, It must be kept
I'll call her back once she is dead
A promise made by lover's lips
A vow once sealed with a kiss
In darkest hours I come for her
To call her back into this world

A mirror large for her return
Two candles flicker as they burn
Their orange light, the red coals' glow
The words of darkest chants I know
I look inside the argent glass
As bitter tears fall on the grass

"Bloody Mary, I summon thee
Come here among us,
Come to me
In Chambers dark, through mirrors dim
I summon thee,
Oh spirit grim
Oh Bloody Mary, hear my call
Come glance upon
Themortal small"

Her face I see in endless night
No shadow casts the candlelight
Not of this world, my love is dead
The eyes, once loved, sow only dread
Her hands in gory lies entwined
No longer mine, no longer kind
What evil have I just unchained
Through me,afreedom it obtained

"As you came here, so must you go
You cannot stay in our world
Lo hark the soothing darkness calls
Return to her unyielding thralls
Thee once hath lived
Thee once hath died
You've seen the veil's other side
Oh Bloody Mary go from me
Return whence came ye, I prithee"

A thunder clap, and blinding gleam
The rain pours down, oh evil dream,
I feel I'm falling to my knees.
-"Forgive me love, forget me, please."
-"I cannot live without your light,
But it has faded out of sight"
-"I'll follow thee, pray take my hand
Let's leave this weary, weeping land"

The sun now rises over plain
The broken shards glint in the rain
Two candles small burned to the ground
A pile of embers cold and drowned
A single rose, its petals black
A young man lies upon his back
His lifeless eyes no longer see
His soul last night had been set free.
