Beneath a full, glowing moon winds a quicksilver stream through the magestic, frosted trees shimmering in the starlight and ends as a gleaming, sparkling pool of mercury glazed over with a sheet of ice. In the snow blanketing the frozen earth, the tracks of swift, almost dainty paws are the only disturbance in an ethereal sea of winter magic. At the end of the moonlit trail stands the vixen, her fur a splash of fire against the glittering snow and head held proudly high. At the tips of her silky muzzle, ears, and paws, her fur is gossamer silver contrasting with her fiery fur and bright emerald eyes. Suddenly emerging from behind a glistening tree, a handsome russet fox lopes gracefully up to his fiery lover. His silky, dark coat glitters, the snowflakes in his fur reflecting the moonlight. His dark cyan eyes focus only on his love, and his dips his smoky-black muzzle in a bow. She does the same, her almond-shaped eyes gazing into his. As they both lift their heads, they begin their dance. The once-silent winter night is now alive with the foxes' song as they move with catlike agility and grace, prancing, twirling, and lunging beneath the moonlight. Their dance ends just as the sky begins to glow with pre-dawn light, and they disappear together into the fading shadows of the winter night.
