The night grows old as
Snow drifts lazily upon us,
She hums the final verse as
We make our way back home,
He wakes the sleeping rabbits,
Not to prey or kill,
Just to chase and play with,
As we slowly journey home,
She smiles sweetly as
The moon slowly drifts away,
The night begins to fade as
We find our way back home,
The sun dawns, nestled,
In the mountains far,
He cuddles against her side,
As we clear the path to home,
The streets all slowly fill as
The hectic life awakens,
She whispers gently in his ear as
We slowly near our home,
He watches as they gasp,
They ponder and they smile,
Two wolves walk through the town,
Looking for a home,
And so sweet night ends as
We make forge our way back home,
The day begins, they don't care as
We are not alone.
