Poem by: Wolven Instinct
Trapped, caged,
Not telling them,
Who, or what I really am,
Dislike the sun,
Love the moon,
This will lead me to my doom,
Why the hate?
Why the fear?
That I'm forced to hold so near,
Go away,
Leave me alone!
Can't I find it on my own?
My true self,
The one I love,
The animal,
Is it a dove?
Not a dove,
No way, no how,
A preditor,
Can't be a cow,
Forced to fear,
To hate,
No Love,
Life was never like a dove,
A thing of beauty,
Passion,
Hope,
A thing of love,
And peace,
A joke.
Living on Instinct,
Hoping I'm in sync,
With the rest of the world,
And now I'm curled,
Up in a ball,
Admonishing it all,
"I must be crazy!"
I tell myself,
And so I put it on a shelf,
In a corner no one sees,
Fearing them,
And fearing me,
It happens again,
But this time I'm Free!
With the things trapped,
Inside me.
Keeping them all at a distance,
I don't have a pack,
Too much resistance,
I think of all the things I've sung,
And this is it,
I'm finally done,
I know the thing,
Caged in this place,
I know what is is,
And why it will pace,
Why it will sing,
About the nights beauty,
Why the night rings,
With her call of duty,
That she find a mate,
With which can relate.
So lonely the nights and days,
Why they were I can truely say,
When no one understands,
and think you're just crazy,
Can you adjust,
And and make it less hazy?
It's agony for every hour,
And every time,
You try to cower,
From what you are,
never got very far,
Try to deny,
What you are inside.
I love the wolf,
That's inside me,
That makes me so,
Happy and free,
My personality,
Therianthropy.

I love it! The transition from denial to acceptance to love, brilliantly done. Far better than anything we've written together. I would also like to say, it's hard rhyming love, dove is an autamatic choice, their simularities and associations make it obvious, but it is hard to get around that when it doesn't natural fit into the piece, no? I have that problem alot which is why I use half rhymes, where you rhyme the vowel before the last syllabal. Just saying =^.///= Again, I totally love it, and I completely love you.
Kawaaaaaaa~~~ You're such an awesome little wolfie aren't you? Yes you are, yes you are! I loved it.
I really like this. Keep writing! :P
