Shadows seeping through the night,

Darkness holds a grip so tight.

Moonlight flows like running rivers,

Wind so cold, it gives me shivers.

Ice holds a deathly grasp.

Every time I talk, I gasp.

Whispers through the alleyways

Winter is gripping all the days.

Snow sinks through the sky

Through the clouds, the lone bird will fly.
