A poem that questions man rejecting God's pursuit of him. A poem that asks why man rejcets God when all he wants to do is help. Why man rejects him who is the creator of all the Earth, and why man pulls away even though the know all this.

Why do you pretend not to see me as I stare you in the face? Acting as if I am some kind of invisible race.

Why did you not come to me all those sleepless nights? When all you could do was stare at the beauty I made in the night skies.

Why did you not answer me when I beckoned you in your dreams? Telling you I could help you escape from the worlds evil schemes.

Why do you deny me even though you've touched my hands? Which were nailed to the cross for the sins of man.

Why do you spit out the sweet merciful nectar of my love? When it is the only way to reach my Heaven above.

Why do you treat me as though I am a leper? When in reality I am the good shepherd.

Why do you not answer me when I rap at the door? For there will come a time when I can rap no more.

For you see it was me who took the sin of man. As Jesus was not sent into the world to condemn. The path is before you now which way will you choose to go, to Heaven above or Hell below?
