God’s Special Gift

A baby is sweet,

small and petite.

With innocent eyes,

That look to the skies

and drift off to lullabies

As baby wrinkles his(her) little nose

And you nibble on sweet baby toes

You think what more is there to life,

Than being a mother and a wife.

For God has blessed you

With this special gift,

And though at times things

may seem to go adrift.

Nothing could be more rewarding or good

Than the joys of parenthood.
