I feel your eyes gazing down on mine...

But you're not really there...

I feel your arms wrapped around me...

But you're not really there...

I taste your lips and feel their warmth...

But you're not really there...

You seem to be next to me, yet I see you on a screen...

 

I'm infected with your loving poison...

But it's not really there...

I'm told that I'm unique, amazing...

But the thought is not really there...

You say that love me with all of your heart...

But it's not really there...

I feel hatred, shame, and anger...

You're not really there...

I hate you, everything you say is a lie...

You're not really there...

No matter what you do or say...

Your love is not really there...

 

Now, I finally realize something is true for the first time...

My love for you, is not really there...

 

It was never really there...
