This is a small poem about my motherland. When I visited it for the first time, I wrote this poem.

Enjoy.

This land, this beautiful land,

On which I sit and stand.

The view I see is proof of the,

The One we call Lord Almighty.

Every tree, every piece of grass, every grain of sand.

I am one with it all,

With a touch of my hand.

I look upon for hours,

At the treasure still ours.

From Yerevan to the villages,

From the villages to Ararat.

Remembering Noah's Arc, and the Lord's flood attack.

In case you are still scratching your head,

This land I speak of is Armenia, where blood has shed.

But frown not,

For we sing and laugh and play.

Because today on this land...

Armenia sits and stands.
