Affrighted by the aftermath of the nightmare,

thrown into the aphotic abyss of lonely despair.

Purloined from my pleasure in regular life,

you're dredging through my mind the sorrow a rife.

Deficiency of the hope my heart used to be overspilled with,

lacking a prospect my breathing becomes a writhe.

Mentating you with the pain prodding my heart,

my intellections spread across the world like an abstract piece of art.

The saline water taste rushing from my split optic,

guttering from my soul's candle and wick.

This anguish I had no thought of how to unsue,

because I lost myself in the fear of losing you.
