The Great Wall of China is the
only manmade structure on earth
visible from outer-space.

It is said that The Great Wall
was built upon a foundation of human bones
because of the hundreds of thousands of slaves
who died during its construction.

For over one-thousand years,
The Great Wall kept all outsiders outside,
and all insiders inside, until
the average Chinese man or woman
believed they were living at the center
of the Universe.

China has replaced the stone and mortar
Wonder of the Ancient World
with an electronic and digital Great Firewall of China.
A Wonder of the Modern World
censoring internet access.

Last week on his economically motivated visit,
President Obama denounced the Great Firewall of China,
while he took the walking tour
of the Great Ancient Wall that’s become obligatory
for all Americans visiting China since Nixon.

It’s cause to wonder—
who is right in their wall building?
