This really isn't going to make much sense to anyone but me; its more like self-affirmation than anything else.

I once told her that heaven was easy to see;

All you had to do was open your eyes, and look around.

------------------

A long, hard, rewarding night of work.

A half-hour drive, listening to the radio, looking forward to some much-needed rest and seeing my family.

Coming home, to a place that is truly ours.

The temperature is a little chilly, because its early, but still comfortable.

A scent of fresh baking in the air, from the cereal factory across town.

A family inside, waiting to say good morning, and give hugs and kisses.

See them off to school; have a good breakfast.

Tell her good night, get a kiss, get some sleep.

Dream of the future, so bright and fulfilling.

Wake up in time for dinner; sit with the family, laugh, talk, have fun.

Put the kids to bed; kiss them good night and wish them a good day tomorrow at school.

Spend some time alone with her; watching tv, enjoying each other.

A kiss good-bye; back in the car, another drive to work in the cool breeze of night.

Listening to the radio, even sad songs can't spoil my mood.

Back at work- I'm healthy, young, looking forward to it.

And start the whole thing over the next day.

--------------------------

It doesn't matter if it doesn't exist.

I've already been there.

And the tumor means nothing.
